Within the next 18 months there will be a general election and whilst at this time the politicians have other things on their minds there is no room for complacency. The national press and media are quick to draw parallels with the terrible criminal shootings around the world as well as at home and place the burden upon legitimate sportsmen and women like you and me.

In the run up to the election there are things you need to do but first and foremost you need to get involved. The most productive way to get involved is to get, and meet other like mind individuals to find out what is already being done.

This can be used to correct statements put forward by the candidates in your area should they attempt to mislead voters on issues important to our way of life and recreational activities.
